Velosi is looking for an Electrical and Allied Services Design Engineer for the Building Construction Sector to work in Lahore, Pakistan. Candidate must have experience in the design of MV (11KV) LV (400/230V) & ELV services. Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Project Location(s): Lahore, Pakistan Education: BSc. - Candidate should be proficient in performing Electrical Load calculations for residential buildings, offices, schools, commercial buildings, hospitals, universities, etc.
- Candidate should have a good concept of demand factors, diversity factors, group diversity factors, power factor, real power, apparent power, reactive power, etc.
- Candidate should be able to perform Electrical Load calculations as per the NEPRA Consumer Service Manual (CSM).
- Candidate should be proficient in the design of the LV & MV protection schemes i.e. sizing of VCBs, ACBs, MCCBs, MCBs & RCBOs.
- Candidate should be able to perform Electrical Cable Sizing calculations for MV & LV cables as per BS7671 / IEC standard guidelines.
- Candidate should be able to perform Voltage drop calculations for MV & LV cables.
- Candidate should have high proficiency in sizing of MV/LV Substations, transformers, generators, UPS banks, Power Factor Improvement Plants, Busways, etc.
- Candidate should be able to understand & draft the Single Line Diagrams on AutoCAD software.
- Candidate should be able to design Electrical Services (Lighting Design, Raw & UPS Power Design, Cable Tray Layout Design, Conduit Layout Design, and Lightning Protection System Design).
- Candidate should be able to design ELV services & prepare the schematics. ELV services include Fire Alarm System, CCTV system, Public Addressing System, Data and telephone System, MATV system, Queue Management System, etc.)
- Candidate should be proficient in the preparation of BOQs, Engineering Estimates & Rate Analysis.
- Candidate should have good knowledge of PV system design and have a good understanding of PVsyst Software.
- Candidate should be proficient in MS Office, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
As our ideal candidate, you should have:
- Electrical Engineering from a reputable university. Additional qualifications would be an added advantage.
- Registered PEC engineer.
- 03-05 Years of Experience.
- Expertise in Codes, and Standards (BS7671, IEE Wiring Regulations, NEC, NFPA-72, NEPRA CSM, etc.).
- High Proficiency in MS Office, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, & AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
