Job Title: Legal Counsel Salary: Up to £60k Basic + 30% bonus Location: 90% remote but Midlands based for occasional office meetings preferable. Sector: Professional Services Douglas Scott are working with one of the worlds leading professional services businesses on the hire of a new Legal Counsel to join their global team. You'll work as part of the EMEA legal function but have a focus on UK matters and work alongside some really experienced lawyers in the UK. As a general commercial legal counsel, you'll be responsible for the following:
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contract agreements with a focus on B2B contracts
- Preparing, negotiating and reviewing data processing agreements
- Communicate directly with clients and vendors.
- Providing ad hoc legal advice for various business departments such as Ops, HR, CoSec, Risk & Compliance and Privacy.
- Opportunities to work closely with senior business stakeholders and work on strategic matters.
- Qualified Solicitor with 1-5 PQE
- Demonstrable experience in a commercial contracts setting
- Comfortable dealing with senior level stakeholders and operating with a level of autonomy due remote nature of the role.
