The Role As an Intune SME , you will get to work with state-of-the-art technology and will be responsible for compliance and Intune device life cycle for Britain’s biggest generator of Zero carbon electricity. Key responsibilities: · Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for device enrolment, application deployment, and compliance policies. Develop and implement Intune profiles and policies to ensure a secure and productive device environment. Define and implement RBAC within Intune. · Implement Microsoft Azure tenant-level configuration, including Intune, Azure Active Directory (AAD) administration, Conditional Access Policy (CA). · Create and Maintain Windows Compliance Policies. · Package and deploy software applications using tools such as Microsoft Intune prep tool. Ensure standardised and efficient deployment processes for software across the organisation. Manage Intune licence and Implement compliance. · Manage and assign applications to users and manage app settings remotely. · Implement and monitor security policies through Intune, including conditional access and compliance settings. Collaborate with the security team to enhance endpoint protection and respond to security incidents. · Configure Windows Autopilot, deployment of OS upgrades and application along with MDM Management of MDM platform (Microsoft Intune), MAM, MCM policies. · Provide administration and technical support for devices and troubleshoot complex technical issues. · Develop and maintain software solutions/scripts to support automation of Intune configuration and administration to develop desired state configuration for Azure Cloud Platform. · Create and maintain documentation for Intune configurations and best practices. · Manage ServiceNow queue and adhering to SLAs. Change, Incident and Problem management. Handle severity incident, availability for on-call (on ROTA basis). Your Profile Key skills/knowledge/experience:
- Hardware knowledge and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience with Device Management through Intune. Knowledge of OS migration and implementation of Intune and defined services. Intune application deployment and Protection.
- Strong experience to Configure and deploy Auto-Pilot within InTune.
- Strong knowledge in set up and enrolment of devices, manage users and licenses, assign roles, enrol Windows and mobile devices, manage profiles for Windows devices.
- E3 PowerShell Scripting skills and deep understanding of Intune and Azure.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in Agile and Scrum development methodology. Experience in Auto Pilot and RBAC.
- Proficiency in Modern workplace technologies: Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Windows 10/11, device management.
- Security Clearance (SC) Mandatory.
- Good knowledge on application packaging and MSI technologies.
- Experience with creation of provisioning profiles, configurations & security profiles, and deployment to managed client devices.
- Understanding of Azure AD Connect and Azure AD directory service for managing cloud identity.
- Understanding of SSO and MFA technologies for SaaS applications.
- Expertise in troubleshooting issues reported by the end user. These issues could be software related, such as identifying malware, or can be related to malfunctioning hardware. This requires an extensive knowledge of popular operating systems and software.
- Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams and a proven track record of coordinating across teams in a large organizational environment.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-101).
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator (MD-102).
