Learning & Development Specialist Salary - £40,000 Hybrid working - Basingstoke office (2/3 days a week) Once For All is a high-growth, cloud-based, SaaS subscription business. Our technology helps our customers to manage their supply chain governance, risk management and compliance. We work across public and private sector and have over 60k customers across the UK across 20 different sectors including construction, transport, retail, hospitality education, facility and property management, manufacturing, local and central government. To identify, create and deliver high quality and engaging learning and development content across the UK business that aligns to company values being created for 2024. This is a newly created role within a truly entrepreneurial business that is growing through acquisitions. With the support of the Head of People, the role is responsible for the creation of a quality and engaging L&D strategy and has the autonomy to shape the learning and development function of the business, partnering the various business units, ensuring that specialised training in addition to companywide training is delivered to a truly best in class standard. The role is required to source, create and deliver learning content and learning interventions where required, and will seek, engage, and build strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver the L&D strategy, with a focus on upskilling management and the leadership team, whilst utilising inhouse training to deliver other training elements that encompass compliance and regulatory training. The role is responsible for ensuring that the business fully buys into training programmes and then measure the effectiveness of the delivery and performance through key metrics. The L&D strategy, interventions, and programmes you lead on will cover the complete employee lifecycle journey from onboarding through to skill enhancement and career development, this will include technical, cultural, behavioural, leadership and inspirational learning content. Job Responsibilities: Learning and Development Strategy across the UK

  • To implement and lead a true ‘learning culture’ across the business that is best in class.
  • Ensure that our company values are the golden thread through our L&D strategy and all of our L&D tools and interventions.
  • Promote under used training software (Looop) to deliver training and create professional learning pathways for all employees.
  • Remain curious and keep close to market insight, external market factors affecting our business, business trends and industry leaders to ensure that our L&D strategy pushes boundaries
  • Work with and influence senior stakeholders and function leaders to understand and build programmes that enable personal and functional growth, in line with their long-term talent plans
  • Implement a ‘9 box grid’ assessment across the business, aligning to succession plans and future leaders.
  • Align with the Head of People, Talent Acquisition Lead and HR Business Partner to deploy strategies and activities to gain external recognition and publicity for our L&D activity – that creates a halo effect around our group identity
  • Identify and manage external L&D providers to support and deliver elements of our L&D strategy including sourcing and building strong, cost effective and efficient partnerships that have strong brand alignment.
  • Inspire, engage, and empower teams and individuals to live our values and achieve growth resilience and emotional intelligence.
  • Build a learning and development space in which teams feel safe to question and explore a wide variety of subject matters.
  • Proactively drive a strong community spirit across teams – seeking opportunities for team working and cross functional networking with French peers.
Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications
  • A solid HR background and extensive employee relations knowledge
  • Experience working in a fast-paced SME is highly desirable
  • Level 5 (minimum) L&D/CIPD Qualifications achieved
  • Time in a L&D HRBP/ Manager role where learning has covered a range of topics from technical, behavioural to apprenticeships, internships, and cultural delivery
  • Experience with working with and sourcing external learning providers
  • Communication/content creation and delivery both online and classroom-based learning
  • A dedicated team player
  • A desire to achieve more with less
This role may occasionally require travel to other company sites across the UK when delivery training to remote colleagues and possibly occasional travel France, when working on joint projects.
