ABOUT THE ROLE This full-time position requires a person who has a variety of skills and is able to assist our busy workshop team with whatever they may need. The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and great communication skills as well as the ability to multi-task and take direction. We have a great team and consider attitude to be a key element in identifying the right candidate for this role. DUTIES * Assisting with the set up of work areas. * Receiving of job parts into the production area, and ensuring parts are stored clearly and neatly. * Operate a forklift to store and unload parts. * Collect stock/parts from the store. * Return unused project parts back to the store. * Assist with workshop activities where an additional pair of hands is required. * Pick up and deliver parts as required. * Adhering to workplace health and safety guidelines and following the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE * Experience in a similar role previously would be advantageous but is not necessarily required. * The successful candidate must have a current full New Zealand driver licence. * Must have a good attitude, be self-motivated and take direction well. * Must be reliable and the ability to work independently where required. * Must be physically fit and able to sustain physical work over eight hours or more. * Must have a good knowledge of and be able to use tools and carry out physical tasks as required. * Must have good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks while working in a fast-paced environment. * Must have excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and managers. * A clear alignment with the company values is essential in order to ensure that all team members feel valued and respected and are motivated to achieve the required outcomes.
