Account & Relationship Management (Sales) You will lead the territory sales for the Industrial Coatings in Southern Malaysia segment, articulating a growth strategy for the state of Johor & Melaka in alignment to the Malaysia strategy, identifying key customers to drive growth. You will report directly to General Manager, SEA (South). This position is a remote position. Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with members of the regional team to get the right level of technical and product support to achieve planned business results.
- To lead the implementation of defined sales and marketing action plans to achieve the sales, PC targets for the segment.
- Provide on-site support to PPG customers.
- Work together with the technical manager and the manufacturing/QA/QC team to solve quality, technical and product performance issues as and when it arises.
- To develop new market and business opportunities, ensuring sales orders and repeat business.
- To conduct periodic market surveys, monitor competitors’ activities and provide up-to-date feedback on market development.
- To manage the credit control process and ensure AR policies are implemented. Meet Working Capital targets (DSO and DOI)
- Liaise with the Demand Manager/Sales Administrator to improve sales forecast accuracy.
- Liaise with the technical team to manage the RAs and work towards minimizing the SSPL impact to the business.
- At least 8 years of working experience and specifically 5 years of Industrial sales and marketing experience with experience related to paints, coating, polymer or consumer products.
- Strategic acumen to build a growth vision for the segment and what resources will be needed to achieve it.
- Provide the right techno-commercial insight to prioritize delivery of business opportunities.
- Good work ethic.
- Committed to the cause and self-motivated.
- Good customer relationship management skills and able to work independently.
