Scrum Master

Morgan McKinley is recruiting for a Finance Scrum Master position for one of our key clients. The ideal candidate will have experience working on finance transformation, implementing an Agile way of working. This is a 12 month daily rate contract with a competitive daily rate on offer. This contract will operate on a hybrid basis, with a 2 day onsite requirement in Cork. Responsibilities: Lead and develop operations plans including application releases/updates, data/hardware migrations, and stability/performance improvements. Understands the business strategy and design approaches within product, program or domain with depth to be credible and effective with teams they work with. Can competently represent team services. Identifying project risks and driving mitigations. Transform raw thoughts into clear and concise communications/instructions to the teams. Can communicate with confidence 3+ levels up. Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example. Guiding and coaching the team to ensure Scrum practices and principles are adhered to. Facilitating all Scrum Ceremonies, that is, the Daily Stand Up, Product Backlog refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo and Sprint Retrospective. Requirements: 3 + years' experience as a Scrum Master developing software using Agile methodologies. Experience working on a finance transformation project, with close communications with internal accounting and finance teams. Ability to 'speak accountant' and understand their needs and language. Familiar with the governance and reporting requirements associated with regulated industries, such as SOX. Experience of matrixed, global organisations.
