Jess Fine Foods is based in Twechar, nestled on the edge of the Campsie Hills, and offers cooked meats, puddings, and continental sausages. We have a fantastic opportunity for Production Manager to join our production team based in Twechar. Skills and ExperienceProven experience as a Production Manager.Deep knowledge of Production Management.Experience in reporting on key Production matters.Excellent organisational and leaderships skills.Experience working in an environment with high standards and accountability.Outstanding communication ability.Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading and driving standards of quality, food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping within all areas of the factory through Good Manufacturing Practice (G.M.P.)Managing the communication process to ensure that the workforce in their area is well informed on relevant production plans and matters.Liaise with Team Leaders, Engineering and Senior Management to formulate objectives and understand requirements.Organise workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.Monitor production to resolve issues.Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel from goods in right through to goods out.Determine the number of necessary resources needed for each area (workforce, raw materials, and ingredients etc.)Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.Ensure output meets quality standards.Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.Excellent attention to detail.Report to senior management.We offer 29 days of paid holiday per year, and work hours are from 6.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday.The position is an excellent opportunity for a Production Manager to advance their career within an innovative, rapidly growing organisation.
