About the role As our Director of Marketing Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our agency continues to deliver exceptional service to our high-value clients while scaling operations sustainably. You will be at the forefront of operational strategy, team leadership, and service innovation, working closely with our founder to nurture a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. As a highly experienced digital marketer, you’ll also directly contribute to core service delivery, capable of stepping in to address immediate needs and drive project success. Your efforts ensure operational excellence and project delivery through direct involvement in Paid Social, Paid Search, Email + SMS, CRO, Creative and Client Service departments. You’ll actively contribute to, and oversee day-to-day operations and service execution. You’ll be responsible for building, rolling out, and monitoring department processes and systems to ensure effective and efficient production flow throughout the team and with the client. Also responsible for developing solid relationships with clients and connecting with key business stakeholders to ensure top-tier service delivery. Successful candidates must have notable experience in digital marketing, ideally for DTC brands, combining deep expertise as a marketer with a strong background in operations, to effectively lead and innovate in our service delivery. This role involves a blend of strategic planning, process optimization, resource management, and team leadership to support the agency's growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the founder to provide strategic direction for the agency and identify opportunities to improve.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies that align with the agency's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead delivery teams, setting clear expectations, providing guidance, and driving high performance.
  • Directly oversee and engage in quality control processes to ensure client deliverables meet the highest standards.
  • Actively participate in key projects, especially those involving media buying on platforms like Meta and Google, to optimize campaigns, manage budgets, and ensure client objectives are met.
  • Oversee project timelines and workloads, intervening directly to reallocate resources or take personal charge to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure optimal allocation of agency resources, including personnel, technology, and budgets, across projects and departments.
  • Create, standardize and refine workflows and procedures to ensure consistency and high-quality service delivery.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and a proactive approach.
  • Measure and improve client satisfaction through regular feedback and tailored service improvements.
  • Assist in the hiring and onboarding process for new team members, freelancers or vendors ensuring candidates align with the agency's strategic needs and culture.
  • Provide regular reports on operational performance, efficiency improvements, and progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Establish open channels of communication for team feedback on operations, client projects, and internal processes. Use this feedback to make continuous improvements.
  • Lead the effort to translate client feedback into actionable insights for service improvement. Work with internal teams to implement changes and enhancements in service offerings and processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or higher preferred
  • A strong enthusiasm for the art and science of growing E-commerce businesses.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital marketing for DTC brands with a proven track record in paid user acquisition (Meta Ads).
  • Extensive experience in marketing operations, with demonstrated ability to streamline processes and lead diverse teams towards operational excellence.
  • Skilled in strategic planning and execution, including developing and implementing operational strategies that align with company goals.
  • Strong background in client relationship management, capable of building solid relationships with high-value clients and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Expertise in process optimization, including identifying and implementing improvements to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
This is a full-time, fully remote role.
