Lighting Design & Manufacturing Company – Designer / Studio Administrator We are a boutique contemporary lighting design & manufacturing company located in East York. We are currently looking to hire a full-time Studio Administrator to help with office administration, design development and project scheduling. Are you a dynamic candidate with a passion for contemporary lighting and design? This opportunity will allow you to assist design professionals in Toronto and across North America with specifying lighting for their residential, commercial and hospitality projects. This position is ideal for an individual with natural people skills, looking for a stable and long-term position with a growing firm. Responsibilities Include: - Manage new and on-going orders - Provide product information and quotes for standard product line or custom variations via email or phone - Provide 3D renderings for client sign-off using SketchUp and Rhino 3D - Compile and ship sample packages for client review - Follow ups to email inquiries - Contact vendors to order supplies / materials - Create and edit product specification sheets - Process new orders, issue invoices, create work orders and input orders into production data database - Manage deposits / final payments - Create item lists in Excel to coordinate parts go for plating or powder coating Production: - Provide working drawings from AutoCAD, SketchUp and Rhino 3D for production - Prepare .dxf files in AutoCAD and Rhino 3D to send for laser cutting Web Content Management / Marketing:
- Update company Shopify website as needed (new products, uploading images, updating product information, and links to spec sheets in Dropbox)
- Prepare quarterly e-blast newsletters in Klavio
- Social media posting for new products and projects

- 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday.
- 8am to 4 pm Friday
- Bonus pay

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Design: 2 years (preferred)
