Quoting Reference Number: #ITSTEC2403 RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing local and remote branch IT services including but not limited to:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware and software systems, including operating systems, applications, and utilities
- Implementing, maintaining, and supporting server hardware and storage infrastructure
- Implementing, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft Core infrastructure technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, Hybrid Microsoft 365 and Exchange 2019
- Implementing, maintaining, and supporting network infrastructure (LAN and WiFi)
- Collaborating with the IT team to implement and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls and antivirus software
- Maintaining and supporting VoIP systems
- Providing guidance and training to end-users on the effective use of technology resources and tools
- Liaising with contractors and vendors to design, implement and maintain technology solutions
- Effective communications skills
- Maintaining acceptable standards of office conduct demonstrating the ability to engage, inspire, and influence people across a very broad audience
- Analytical and technical problem-solving skills
- Project management skills: plan or execute technical aspects of projects
- Planning and time management skills
- Attention to detail, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
- Grade 12 Minimum
- Minimum 5 years IT related experience
- Related experience in the transport industry desired
- Relevant IT qualification
- CompTIA A+
- Microsoft Administrator and System Architect role-based certifications advantageous
- Microsoft 365 Certified (Foundations)
