This includes Data Centre, servers, databases, applications, wide area networks, local area networks, desktops, printers, telephony, and security, including antivirus and malware. The infrastructure manager needs to ensure that the offices can operate effectively and efficiently to achieve strategy. The infrastructure manager is responsible for the infrastructure architecture, operations, outsourcing agreements, and relationship management with service providers.Requirements:Matric/Grade 12Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role at a small to medium company.SAP Knowledge is a MUSTResponsibilities:Deliver a stable progressing infrastructure architecture for the companyDeliver on the infrastructure plan.Ensure all infrastructure is available with agreed SLA standards. Data Centre's and servers and applicationsManage the relationship with the service providersEnsure company DRP is implemented and tested annually.Develop the infrastructure plan.Deliver on the infrastructure plan.Ensure office connectivity is in place and managed to SLAEnsure network management tools are in place(NMS, proxy server)Telephony system per SLA agreementDaily, weekly monthly statsFirewalls and securityLAN, WAN working to SLAEnsure servers are available to company users as per SLAEnsure Management of network partnersManagement stats in monthly reportsEnsure all systems data backed up daily and stored in secure retrievable areaEnsure the business continuity plan is in place and tested annuallyManage antivirus, Malware, desktops standards and profiles emailEnsure all updates are installed in the corrected controlled way (WSUS/WDS)Only company users able to log on to DomainEnsure users protection from Malware and virus' via recognized anti-virus application on each PCEnsure e-mail security and antispam solution implementation and managementOffice printers/scannersMaintain a support helpdeskHelpdesk availability 24/7/365Support analysis and reportsImplement and communicate SLAMonitor and report on any SLA breaches Manage all service providersPlease take note: if you have not been contacted within 14 days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
