We have a new opportunity for a *Finance Support Analyst* to support our *Insurance* Team, based out of our Northwich Office, Monday to Friday. You’ll be provided with an opportunity for you to develop your existing finance experience and help our business grow. #win:win* You will be the liaison with RMG’s Insurance Brokers, ensuring prompt payment of Insurance premiums (by facilitating payment requests), undertaking fund transfers from service charge accounts and fund allocating invoice settlements. You will also engage with brokers to arrange payment plan options, ensuring these payment plans are adhered to. Undertaking regular financial analysis of sites with upcoming premiums due, you will ensure premiums are paid on time. *What skills and experience could make your application stand out? Experience within the insurance industry is highly desirable, *and we are particularly interested in applications from candidates who have experience in *Accounts Payable* roles, or *Supplier Account Management* experience. And if you hold an *AAT* qualification, or are currently studying towards, that ticks another one of our boxes – however, we can offer study support for the right candidate. *What are some of the tasks you will be doing day to day?** Identifying negative fund positions in relation to the payment of an insurance premium and ensuring best endeavours to arrange payments or agree payment plans with the broker. * Setting up Direct Debit payments with brokers and ensuring enough funds are held prior to the payment date. * Producing and reconciling broker statements and providing brokers with regular payment updates. * Reviewing and forecasting site expenditure to identify obstacles to prompt payment of insurance premiums. * Undertake reviews with Property Managers, ensuring they’re equipped to understand and communicate the importance of prompt payment in insurance premiums in their client meetings. * Resolution of Financial Queries from Insurance brokers. * Providing a service & building relationships with Property Managers, internal departments and Insurance Brokers to ensure smooth running of Property finances. *What are we looking for from our Finance Support Analyst - Insurance?* With previous finance admin experience and, as mentioned above, preferably having worked within the insurance industry and previously worked in an accounts payable or account management role, we’re also looking for interest from a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude! *What else are we looking for?…** A good understanding of a Chart of Accounts, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet & Cashflow statements and their interpretation * Good communication skills phone, email and video conferencing (we use Microsoft Teams), with both internal and external customers * Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise your own workload to ensure deadlines are met * Solid teamworking and collaboration skills * Ability Microsoft office competence, with Excel to intermediate level as a minimum * Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders *What does RMG have to offer you?** A 37.5 hour working week with a salary of £23,500 – £25,000* 25 days holiday plus all Bank Holidays plus never work your Birthday!* Potential to be rewarded with 2 additional days annual leave * Two paid volunteer days per year * Free onsite parking * Free Healthcare cashback Plan (re-claiming for things like optical treatment (plus an optical discount voucher) and dental care, physiotherapy and GP Charges – plus more!
