Job Summary: As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and vision to drive the company's growth, profitability, and market share in the takaful-focused life insurance industry in Malaysia. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will oversee all aspects of the company's operations, including business development, sales and marketing, risk management, compliance, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's strategic plan in alignment with the company's mission, vision, and values. Lead the development of long-term objectives and strategies to achieve sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
2. Business Development: Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to expand the company's product offerings and customer base. Develop innovative takaful solutions tailored to the needs of the Malaysian market.
3. Sales and Marketing: Drive sales and distribution efforts to achieve revenue targets and market penetration. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies and campaigns to promote the company's products and services.
4. Risk Management: Implement robust risk management policies and procedures to mitigate risks associated with underwriting, investment, and operations. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Shariah principles governing the takaful industry.
5. Financial Management: Oversee the company's financial performance and ensure the attainment of key financial metrics, including revenue growth, profitability, and expense management. Develop and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts.
6. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, regulators, shareholders, and business partners. Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and events.
7. Talent Development: Recruit, develop, and retain top talent to build a high-performing and motivated team. Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to cultivate a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
8. Corporate Governance: Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and best practices. Uphold the highest ethical standards and promote transparency and accountability in all business dealings.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., MBA, CFA, CPA) preferred.
• Proven track record of leadership and success in the insurance industry, with specific experience in takaful and life insurance preferred.
• Strong understanding of Shariah-compliant financial products and principles.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive business growth, and achieve financial targets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards governing the insurance industry in Malaysia.
