TV2 Consulting is seeking an experienced and talented Web Applications Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications that align with our business objectives and meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with our team of designers, developers, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality web applications.Responsibilities:Developing web applications using modern programming languages and frameworksCollaborating with designers and developers to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfacesEnsuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designsOptimizing web applications for maximum speed and scalabilityImplementing best practices for security and data protectionTesting and debugging web applications to ensure they are error-free and functioning properlyProviding ongoing support and maintenance for web applicationsRequirementsRequirements:Mandatory Experience with security as per OWASP standards, accessibility as per WCAG, and performance and Google Page Speed ScoreBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldProven experience as a web developer, with a strong portfolio of web applicationsProficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHPExperience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.jsKnowledge of back-end development frameworks such as Node.js or LaravelFamiliarity with databases and SQLStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyBenefits Work hours are Monday - Friday, normal 37.5 hours weeks working onsite up to 5 days a week Location: Onsite in TorontoType of job: Temporary ContractorHourly contract rate: TBD depending on experienceDate candidate required: ImmediateLength of Contract: 12 months with the possibility of extension Non-profit Organizations,Primary and Secondary Education
