Canada's National Ballet School is currently inviting applications for the full-time, permanent position of Business Systems Analyst. As an organization, NBS is continually evolving and we are looking for a professional with unique, new ideas to complement the School's collaborative work culture.Reporting to the IT Manager, the Business Systems Analyst is responsible for improving organizational efficiency by leading the integration of platforms and web-based applications in use across the organization; and contributing to user competency and confidence. This position functions within a fast-paced office environment and encompasses a wide range of assigned duties. This position offers a hybrid schedule, with the option of working remotely two days per week; working hours are typically Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5PM, with occasional early mornings/late evenings and/or weekends. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide a high-level of proactive thought leadership in maximizing software solutions across NBS; be a strong communicator who enjoys empowering others to leverage technology; solutions-focused, detail-oriented professional with a background in IT or related field; demonstrated experience executing on platform integration projects; and familiarity/experience with Blackbaud products. Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesSpecific Systems and Technical Contributionsfor the overall administration of NBS' CRM, SIS and Fund Accounting Software. Blackbaud is NBS' current critical software solution.support and direction, as needed, for all of NBS' Blackbaud solutions, including Raiser's Edge NXT, Financial Edge NXT, Education Management K-12 (EMS, SIS, LIS, Billing Management) and Merchant Services, and escalates complex or unresolved issues Blackbaud Support.My School App (MSA) access for employees and board members, and assists with access issues for all MSA users, including students and parents.with and/or performs global changes, imports/exports and record deletion in NBS' Blackbaud solutions.Assists platform-specific power users in the implementation and maintenance of access rules and procedures to ensure data integrity and securityProvide backup and support for various platforms and applications in use at NBS.Oversight and Leadership Contributionsand optimize platforms and apps to meet organizational business needs.strategies for and directly execute on integrations between platforms and web-based applications, including the implementation of new integrations and data flows, the maintenance and troubleshooting of existing integrations, and auditing data for accuracy and completeness.software training strategies/plans with the objective of increasing user competency across NBS and other objectives outlined in NBS' Strategic Plan.with NBS managers to deliver training and empower staff to maximize their use of existing software platforms and web-based applications.the Integration Associate, Platforms and Applications.the effective management of IT operating budget and capital expenditures.to the creation/maintenance of training materials and support documentation.up to date on knowledge regarding the capabilities of database software used by NBS and stay informed of technology trends, including new platforms and products that may benefit NBS.maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's business databases and web-based applications.other duties as assigned.and maintain access rules and procedures around data integrity and security.Qualifications/Skills/Experienceminimum of 5 years of experience in a related position; a degree or diploma in information technology, computer science, or a related field.with Blackbaud (e.g. Raiser's Edge NXT, Financial Edge NXT and K-12 School Management Solutions) is preferredof other systems, and/or other CRM databases (e.g. Google Workspace for Education, ActiveNet, Amilia Smart Rec, NCR Counterpoint, Shopify, Jane)with APIs, data integration techniques, and web services.of Power Apps, Power BI, Crystal Reports and/or other report template systemswith SQL and the Microsoft Office suite of software.managing people, projects and processeswith a focus on driving results and strong sense of accountabilityattention to detailproblem-solving and analytical abilities to troubleshoot/resolve technical issues.planning, prioritization, multi-tasking and time-management skillsverbal/written communication skills.to work both independently and as part of a team.Successful candidates must supply Canada's National Ballet School with a Police Reference Check in accordance with the School's Child Abuse/Sexual Abuse Prevention Policy; this will be coordinated through the Human Resources Department of NBS.Apply now!
