TV2 Consulting is a talented and detail-oriented Web Developer with expertise in web page load optimization, specifically utilizing Google's PageSpeed Insights.Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and understand project requirements related to web page load timesImplement best practices for web performance optimization, ensuring fast and efficient page loading across various devices and browsersConduct thorough performance audits using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights to identify areas for improvementDevelop and implement strategies to address bottlenecks and optimize critical rendering paths for improved page loading speedWork closely with designers and front-end developers to ensure that visually rich content does not compromise performanceContinuously monitor and analyze website performance metrics, providing recommendations and implementing optimizations as neededStay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in web performance optimizationRequirementsProven experience as a Web Developer with a focus on web page load optimizationProficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologiesIn-depth knowledge of Google PageSpeed Insights and other performance measurement toolsExperience with performance tuning, code splitting, lazy loading, and other optimization techniquesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detailFamiliarity with Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) and their implementationExcellent communication and collaboration skillsBenefits Work hours are Monday - Friday, normal 37.5 hours weeks working onsite up to 3 days a week Location: Onsite in TorontoType of job: Temporary ContractorHourly contract rate: TBD depending on experienceDate candidate required: ImmediateLength of Contract: 12 months with the possibility of extension Non-profit Organizations,Primary and Secondary Education
