SummaryThe chosen candidate will play a key role in the success of Bondi Produce by applying their skills in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, employee benefits, company policy and other HR related programs and services. You will be an integral part in ensuring that our office operations run smoothly as well as facilitating a positive workplace that reflects the company's strategic direction.Responsibilities• Policies and Procedures Administration - ensuring company HR protocols are upheld, providing guidance to employees and managers on interpretation and implementation • Maintenance of all company job descriptions and organizational charts • All facets of the recruitment process from posting to on boarding • Training and Development - coordinate, organize and track training initiatives. • HR Administration - proofread employment contracts, prepare income letters, manage company vacation calendar·  Payroll administration - generate labor reports and manage bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees; weekly timesheet submission for temporary (agency) employees • Off boarding - managing administration of terminations, resignations and exit interviews • Time & Attendance - answering inquiries, record absences into ERP system, manage time clock data for hourly employees • Employee Relations - junior level relations escalating to management when required • Take minutes for employee meetings and prepare them for posting in a timely fashion. • Leaves Management - maternity/parental leaves, STD and unpaid leaves • Performance Coaching - supporting the annual review cycle, feedback and check-ins • Health and Safety - actively participate on the Joint Health and Safety Committee • Other projects, initiatives and duties as assignedQualifications and Competencies• 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar Human Resources role • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent work experience • Be a self-starter • Strong attention to detail and highly organized • Proactive approach to problem solving in your role • Good conflict resolution • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (verbal and written) • Proven abilities working with different HR Technologies and report generation • Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) • Track record of prioritizing multiple competing demands • Well-honed presentation skills - delivery of HR Programs • Very high bar on integrity and confidentiality • Willingness to have and express a point of view • Understanding of complex organizations • Must be legally able to work in Canada • Member of HRPA would be considered an asset • HR designation or working towards designation would be considered an assetBondi Produce embraces diversity in the workplace environment.
