About The Role

The Business Systems Analyst is a crucial role within the Delivery team and will draw on an in-depth understanding of systems and processes to achieve project outcomes. This role is responsible for running stakeholder meetings, workshops, process mapping while critically analyzing the full eco-system to identify suitable solutions. The successful candidate will utilise expertise in bespoke and custom-developed systems and have experience in e-commerce, retail, logistics, warehousing, and ERP systems. They will be responsible for:

• Articulating what processes and systems are necessary to achieve desired outcomes, providing clear guidance and recommendations based on knowledge & experience in e-commerce, retail, logistics, and warehousing (minimum of 2 out of 3 areas).
• Evaluating, coordinating, design, testing, and implementing new and existing functions within bespoke and COTS systems.
• Conducting As-Is/To-Be analysis to identify current and desired future states of business processes and systems.
• Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of requirements, user stories, process flows, and system configurations.
• Developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scenarios to validate system upgrades and changes against business requirements.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders and end-users to gather and document business requirements for system enhancements and upgrades.

About You

• 5+ years experience as a Business Systems / Integration Analyst.
• Extensive experience in e-Commerce, ERP, Logistics, Warehouse or finance systems in the retail domain.
• Experience writing requirements based on SMART or INVEST principles.
• Working knowledge of SQL and API (Postman or other API Tools)
• Experience integrating bespoke systems coupled with the ability to complete configurations of out of the box / COTS systems.
• Experience performing End2End system testing and ability to configure COTS products to business processes.
• Well developed analysis skills and experience conducting requirement elicitation through narrative storytelling format.
• Proficient in developing business cases, mapping business processes by integrating multiple systems. Including data mapping, identifying system dependencies, system constraints and/or limitations.
