Application Support Engineer

Responsibilties

• Handle incidents and user requests related to the applications.
• Provide level 2 application support
• Facilitate communication through activity reporting and change management processes.
• Coordinate the resolution of critical incidents and major events.
• Maintain the knowledge base and support documentation.
• Address other production related events and weekend releases.
• Proactively enhance security, incident prevention, productivity, and quality.
• Ensure compliance with IT support standards, including tracking in Calitrack and Jira.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of experience in IT support in the banking industry.
• Strong knowledge of back office applications in a capital markets environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle incidents in a fast paced environment.
• Familiarity with security best practices and incident prevention.
• Fluency in English is required, additional languages are a plus.
