Our client is a market-leading technology solutions provider and system integrator, with a focus in financial services (FSI), telecommunications, and public sector. They are expanding their business and are looking for Software Engineers to join their team. You will be based at their client's offices in Kuala Lumpur. Job Responsibilities
- Delivery of end to end software development life cycle, utilizing expertise and experience to carry out software development, testing and support activities.
- Development of microservices and web applications for the financial industry.
- Delivering new features to improve and enhance the products offering continuously.
- Preparing Technical Specification.
- Ensuring the technical standard and coding practices are followed in the deliveries.
- Ensure and embed Agile and DevOps practices within the team for teamleader.
- Drive operational excellence across different businesses, achieving this through the consolidation, simplification, and continuous improvement of processes.
- Working for continuous improvement to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Degree holder in Bachelor Computer Science/Information Technology, or related fields.
- At least 2 or more years of experience in software development in microservices architecture, distributed streaming platform and API gateway and Spring Boot.
- Hands-On experience in Unix shell scripting, J2EE, Java and C#/C++, and databases (at least one of these: Oracle, DB2 or MSSQL).
- Frontend experience like HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript/JQuery.
- Any exposure in Cloud or DevOps would be an added advantage.
