About the role: Gartner Conferences is looking for a passionate Senior .NET Software Engineer to work with our highly skilled technology team. The engineer would work closely with our architects, business stakeholders and other developers to help build the next generation of cloud-based systems and services that power Gartner’s $400M worldwide Conferences business. What you'll do:

  • Building and deploying Web applications, services and Windows client applications for internal and external clients
  • Writing unit-tests with goal to achieve 85% automation
  • Building proof concepts using modern technology stack and participate in internal Hackathons to generate and work on creative ideas
  • Working in cross-regional agile teams with engineers from India, Barcelona and US
  • Working in the Reliability Engineering team with focus on Reliability and Operational Excellence.
  • Will travel to EMEA, America and APAC region to support the destination conferences.
  • Will Interact with internal business stakeholder and external clients
What you'll need:
  • 5+ years of Full-Stack development experience of web applications and APIs
  • 3 years’ experience with AWS Core such as S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Elasticache / Redis, Open Search etc.
  • Microsoft SQL Server and demonstrated SQL skills
  • Strong .NET Core experience
  • Strong AngularJS/Angular/React experience
  • Involvement in all phases of the software development life cycle
  • Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack
  • Building and deploying microservices on EKS
  • Building and deploying server-less application using Lambda, API Gateway
  • Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, and NoSQL (DynamoDb or other)
  • AWS Cloud Services: Serverless Stack (API Gateway, S3, Lambda etc.) and Compute Services (EC2/EKS)
  • Strong design patterns and architecture experience for designing resilient applications.
  • Microservices & Containerization experience with Docker
  • Asynchronous Programming/Event driven Architecture
