Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role for a Network Security Engineer. The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for network administration, network security, network engineering, cybersecurity, and information security. The Network Security Engineer will work to prevent unauthorized access, attacks, and vulnerabilities through the use of security tools, firewalls, antivirus software, and other network security measures. Qualifications: Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience
Knowledge of WAN, LAN, SDWAN, MPLS, SIP, VOICE
Knowledge across various CISCO, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Huawei, F5 (added advantage)
Knowledge across Switches, Routers, Firewall appliances
Network Administration and Network Engineering Skills
Network Security, Cybersecurity, and Information Security Skills
Experience with Firewalls, VPN, Intrusion Detection, and Prevention Systems
Experience with Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing
Knowledge of TCP/IP and routing protocols
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Cybersecurity Certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH is desirable
