As we embark on a thrilling growth trajectory, we are in search of a seasoned and strategic Commercial Director to lead our commercialization endeavors spanning several different therapy areas. - Go-to-Market Strategy: Devise and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for diverse product portfolios, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals and market dynamics.
- Commercialization Leadership: Lead the commercialization initiatives for our medical devices, encompassing market evaluation, pricing tactics, product launch strategies, and post-launch monitoring. Spearhead revenue growth and market infiltration through astute strategies.
- Business Model Innovation: Evaluate and devise suitable direct and indirect business models to optimize market outreach, revenue generation, and customer relationships while streamlining distribution channels.
- Team Leadership: Cultivate, develop, and mentor a high-performing commercial team. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture conducive to individual growth and the attainment of collective targets.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with R&D to provide market insights for product development, work closely with Marketing to formulate impactful messaging and campaigns, and coordinate with Sales to ensure the seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to flexibly adjust strategies and maintain the organization's competitive edge amidst evolving market dynamics.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), strategic partners, and distributors.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the efficacy of commercial strategies, chart progress, and make data-driven refinements as required.
- Bachelors/ Masters degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business or a related field; an MBA is advantageous.
- Proven experience in leadership roles within the medical device industry, with proficiency across therapy sectors such as general surgery, endoscopy, urology, cardiology, and orthopaedics.
- Demonstrated success in conceiving and executing go-to-market strategies for diverse product portfolios.
- Solid grasp of direct and indirect business models, distribution strategies, and pricing structures.
- Exceptional leadership and team management acumen, coupled with the ability to motivate and mentor a high-performing team.
- Superlative communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across multifunctional teams.
- Analytical mindset, with a knack for interpreting market data and trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- A proven track record of driving revenue expansion and market amplification within a competitive medical device landscape.
