Global Practice Lead, Optimization

Marketers on Demand is currently seeking a Global Practice Lead, Optimization for one of our leading clients! In this role you will define the global strategy for their optimization practice, develop and deploy optimization offerings as a service, and implement various best practices to meet our client's growth objectives.Key Responsibilities:•Design, own, and implement their optimization strategy aligned with their business objectives•Lead the development of the optimization practice; build, nurture & mentor their global optimization team•Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders; understand business requirements, pain points, propose appropriate solutions•Create and manage a variety of technology development projects•Lead the development and deployment of cutting-edge optimization technologies•Design and implement optimization algorithms and products at various levels (mockup, prototype, and production solutions)Key Qualifications:•Master's or Ph.D. degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field•Over 10 years of operational/consulting experience in solving process and/or value chain optimization problems•Strong technical expertise and deep knowledge of formulating and solving mathematical optimization problems such as LP, NLP, MINLP, CP, etc.•Over 5 years of hands-on experience using commercial optimization solvers like CPLEX, Gurobi, FICO Xpress, or others•Proficiency in one or more scripting languages to interface with various optimization solvers, such as C++, AMPL, Mosel, Python/Pyomo, etc.•Demonstrated leadership and management skills in designing and implementing business strategies to achieve ambitious goalsDoes this sound like you or someone you know in your professional network?
