As the Head of Broking, you will lead the CRB Broking community in New Zealand, focusing on delivering a distinctive client experience through innovative broking solutions. You will cultivate strong C-suite relationships with carriers and serve as the primary liaison with Insurer Executive Leadership. Your role includes ensuring consistency in broking activities across all lines of business, coordinating the delivery of broking solutions to clients, and spearheading the implementation of the broking transformation programme. You will execute the CRB Carrier Management strategy, develop and nurture client relationships, and remain attuned to market trends to envision the future of broking. The Role
- Implements the geography Broking strategy in alignment with the line of business broking leaders.
- Manages and develops the Broking leadership team in the geography.
- Provides direction to the brokers across all lines of business, ensuring technical competency standards are met.
- Leads facilities and panel's best practices.
- Oversees Carrier Management team to execute Geographic and Regional broking strategies.
- Participates in Market Derived Income governance.
- Champions global Broking initiatives.
- Ensures consistent implementation of global Broking data strategy.
- Serves as an escalation point for Carrier issues and CRB Market clients within the geography.
- Member of the WTW Market Security Committee.
- Ensures CRB geography meets financial performance targets.
- Manages Market Derived Income, including governance, in collaboration with Group Legal and Compliance.
- Possesses extensive knowledge of the insurance market, adept at identifying conflicts of interest.
- Demonstrates professionalism and credibility in the broking market, with a deep understanding of client and technical issues, and a strong problem-solving ability.
- Holds a degree or MBA, complemented by professional qualifications such as ACII or equivalent, or relevant industry experience.
- Exhibits exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Displays excellent leadership skills, with a proven track record in developing people.
- Demonstrates strong stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing within a matrix environment.
- Possesses strong facilitation skills, using inclusive and collaborative styles to manage ambiguity and achieve consensus. • Acts as an ambassador for the Company.
