Due to the growth of the practice we have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our well-established close-knit team at Vets4Pets Bangor NI. The position will be up to 40 hours per week & you will work 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am to 1pm, working on a set rota with Vets Now handling our OOH. Part-time will also be considered. The ideal Vet will have good surgical & medical skills & be capable of working sole charge occasionally. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing an excellent service & working as part of a highly-skilled team. They will also have the ability to work up cases to a high standard. We have established a lovely, loyal client-base & enjoy an interesting & varied caseload. Enthusiasm & energy are a must, as is a willingness to communicate with colleagues & clients in the best interests of our patients. Our JVP Stephen McLean, qualified from University College Dublin in 2001 & has a Certificate in Ophthalmology. Stephen leads a friendly team of 3 Vets, 3 Nurses, 1 Student Nurse, 2 VCAs, 3 Receptionists & a Practice Manager. The practice is accredited by the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme for Small Animal General Practice. The practice is based close to Bangor's town centre, with easy commuting options to Belfast by train or by car. We want our colleagues to be as diverse as our clients.
