Job Description A diamond mining company with more than 50 years of experience in producing gemquality diamonds for the local and international market is seeking an ICT Manager to join their team. Your job would include: Overseeing the annual IT budget and ensuring costeffectiveness. Monitoring daily operations including server hardware software and operating systems. To be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of the companys computer systems within the limits of requirements specifications costs and timelines. 1. Legal compliance oversight drafting and advisory
2. Technology computer systems PLC and SCADA IT control systems access control and CCTV systems.
3. Ensure that the groups used IT software licenses programs and systems are legally up to date and registered and related annual license fees are paid in time.
4. Plan organize control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
5. Ensure that maximum firewall and data protection is in place on all group servers and IT systems.
6. Manage IT Staff and assist with selection and training of new employees.
7. Conduct staff performance appraisals in conjunction with offshore line managers /supervisors.
8. With the Training Officer identify opportunities for IT Team development and training to support the companys operations current and future.
9. Design develop implement and maintain company IT Systems policies and procedures.
10. Ensure the security of company Data network
11. Minimization of security breaches on company IT systems.

21. Ensure that administrator credentials and passwords/passkeys are only requested and provided on a strictly needed basis if so such passwords/passkeys must be safely stored and returned as soon as the relevant task is completed.
22. Act in alignment with the companys user needs and system functionality to contribute to enforcing and promoting organizational policy.
23. Identify problematic areas and implement strategic preventative solutions.
24. Regularly audit IT Systems and assess the outcomes of such audits.
25. Report audit outcomes to Senior Management.
26. Preserve the companys assets maintain IT asset register information security and control structures.
27. Prepare the companys annual IT budget for Senior Management approval.
28. Once approved monitor budget spending along with the Finance Department.
29. Manage and maintain the PLC and SCADA systems onboard our operating vessels and assist Technical Departments on board with required design upgrades modification and implementations.
30. Monitor daily operation trends including server hardware software and functionality of operating systems.
31. Coordinate technology installations upgrades and maintenance as needed.
32. Select and recommend new/improved/replacement hardware/software when necessary considering approved budgets.
33. Test troubleshoot and modify information systems so that they are always operating efficiently.
34. Generate performance reports for operating systems monthly.
35. Ensure that all IT activities are performed within the parameters of any applicable laws codes and regulations.
36. Manage and maintain software licensing within the legally applicable laws and regulations.
37. Evaluate risks and issue recommendations to Senior Management to develop a network disaster recovery
38. plan (DRP) and backup procedures. DRP is to be tested to ensure it is working properly.
39. Run frequent network and security checks.
40. Oversee and manage IT Projects including system updates upgrades migrations and outages.
41. Liaise with service providers/vendors for the best possible and costeffective services.
42. Minimal server downtime

Requirements Profile PLC or system Automation experience is required ( To be able to manage the maintenance of our various PLC/software processing control systems as well as on the basic daily IT. ICT Manager to have a basic understanding of these systems). Qualifications Grade 12 Minimum Tertiary Education BS in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Systems or related fields Minimum Experience

• Proven working experience as an ICT Manager
• Experience 5 years Required
• Excellent knowledge of technical management information analysis and computer hardware/software systems.
• Workable knowledge Required
• Handson experience with computer networks network administration and network installation.
• Expertise in server management and data governance
