REVENUE ASSURANCE ANALYST My client, a Galway based, software organisation, with a global finance centre of excellence, seeks to hire a new a Revenue Assurance Analyst within a growing Finance function. My client is transitioning to new business models and is also working thorough a finance and digital transformation process. This is a position which will allow you to develop, learn new skills and lead change in a dynamic environment. You’ll be responsible for working with the members of the GRA Team to develop and establish analytical reporting. You’ll be involved in monthly and quarterly accounting close cycles, as well as assisting with preparation of reconciliations and related analysis of assigned revenue/cost of sales accounts monthly. You’ll work closely with the Revenue Accounting team as well as other groups, such as Sales and Operations managers, Business Development, FPA, and Order Management. This is a permanent role, based in Galway City requiring you to be more so on site initially until there is a technical competence built up. Responsibilities · Responsible for supporting the Technical Revenue Accounting (TRA) function for the company which includes accounting guidance for all agreements for the company. · Working knowledge of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606, ASC 605, ASC842)· Assisting with preparation of reconciliations and related analysis of assigned revenue/cost of sales accounts on a monthly basis. · Assist with defining and creating operating procedures and participating in business process improvement initiatives related to revenue accounting activities. · Support the monthly and quarterly accounting close cycles. · Work closely with the Revenue Accounting team as well as other groups, such as Sales & Operations, Business Development, FPA, and Order Management. · Maintain a high level of accuracy whilst meeting critical timelines. Experience and Requirements · Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or CPA). ·+3 PQE Multinational experience. · Possess a good knowledge of control frameworks and best in class processes. · Strong US GAAP essential with a focus on ASC606. · Experience of using an ERP system preferably SAP. · Strong problem-solving skills, takes proactive approach to address issues and avert conflict. · Ability to coordinate across multiple teams to achieve results. · Strong experience in Excel required / Comfortable in dealing with large volumes of data.
