Main contractor for LTA project seeking for the above position:- Alternate Saturday Roles & Responsibilities:-· Planning the detail construction methods, sequences, and procedures, and in liaison with the subcontractors under the direction and instruction of the Construction Manager. · Directing the field construction works with strict control, especially on works activities that been identified to be hazardous and of high risky and ensuring their compliances of safe work practice. · Ensuring all the works to conform to the Specifications, Works sequence and methods of construction. · Identifying nonconformities and reporting them to the Construction Manager and Quality Management Representative. · Supervising the field construction works including safety arrangements. · Coordinate with Site Engineers of the subcontractors’ works. · Carrying out or attending inspections and monitoring the progress of the works. · Handling Engineering matters including work procedures and shop drawings. · Managing the subcontractors and workers. · Implementing the Quality System in the field construction works. · Produce working schedules of short terms and keep records of the works. · Ensuring that work schedules are followed and achieve milestones dates. · Reporting to the Construction Manager if any changes and conflicts are ordered or found in the construction. Qualifications and Education Requirements:-· Minimum 10 years of relevant experience after obtaining a Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE board, or other qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control as eligible for application as a Resident Engineer or Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance by the Engineer and minimum 5 years of experience in the construction supervision of major underground structures of a similar nature.
