We are dedicated to challenging the status quo and relentlessly pursuing unique insights.About the role: At A+D, we refuse to accept the notion that social content is the 'low hanging fruit' of advertising. With its ability to shift and shape culture, we believe - when done right - social can be one of the most impactful forms of communication. We're on the lookout for an individual that embodies this belief, and can help us elevate our clients' social presences through agile, platform-native, and engaging content.As a Social Content Creator you'll lead lo-fi content creation for a variety of clients. Collaborating with a team of social strategists, creatives and producers, you'll craft content that captures audience attention and achieves our client goals - whether entertainment, education or beyond. From trend-spotting to content development and execution, you'll be empowered to lead the charge in redefining what top-tier social content can be.Your Responsibilities Play a key role in all phases of content creation - working from a social brief you will ideate concepts, shoot and edit social media content (both video and static) with the support of social strategists, creatives, producers, account teams, etc.Craft original and entertaining content that aligns to our clients' brands personality, the target audience and the platform it's being made for.Write copy for concepts, scripts, in-video hooks, post copy, etc. Confidently share work via written decks and presentationProactively look for and bring forward opportunities for our clients to participate in social conversations, whether through comments, UGC, etc.Strategically analyze trends and offer insights on brand alignment and safety considerations.Post content to social channels when required.Collaborate with all members of the social team to collectively and efficiently bring content to life - as a team you'll "own" the agencies social output Your ExperienceYou are a maker at heart. You've been creating content for 2+ years in a creative agency or marketing environmentYou have examples of the social content you've created, proving your understanding of entertaining, platform-native content. You have strong writing skills. You know key social platforms inside and out, how to navigate them as a marketer (and native user).Deep understanding of platform user behavior to inform creative ideas that reach our clients' audiences and deliver on their goals.You understand best practices, but you challenge and validate them through experimentation.Expertise in in-app editing - ie. Instagram, TikTok, CapCut, etc.Understanding of social analytics and the ability to convert numbers into insights.Collaboration and working in a team environment is your jam. Comfortable with presenting ideas to agency and client stakeholders, with the ability to think and pivot in real-time if needed.Bonus if you are comfortable in front of the camera, and speaking for VOs, etc.We love people who are curious, ask questions, like to share knowledge and collaborate.
