The position will be based in Levack, Ontario. This is a full-time, unionized position.Duties and Accountabilities:Working at our client's Mill, the Electrical Maintenance Planner plans and schedules the execution of maintenance work for multiple skilled trade groups. They may also plan and schedule the execution of work for large projects / major shutdowns. The Maintenance Planner generates and maintains department information.About YouYour personal commitment to health, safety, training, and continuous improvement will be the key to your success in this role.Education and SkillsIn order to succeed in this role, the incumbent must possess the following qualifications:1) Education: Minimum college graduate with a technical degree and / or a qualified tradesperson performing maintenance work in an industrial facility or the equivalent.2) Experience: Minimum five years experience as a qualified tradesperson or the equivalent. Successful completion of the entire Planner training modules would be an asset.3) Job Skills: Incumbents must have a working familiarity with personal computers, Microsoft suite of software, Excel, CatBase, & Computerized Maintenance System equipment and tools. Incumbents must possess high communication skills.4) Supplementary Skills: Incumbents also need to possess the following: the ability to work independently within provided guidelines; a high level of initiative and personal time organization skills to manage assigned workloads; and strong leadership and decision-making abilities to successfully manage contractors and tradespersons.What do they offer?A safe environment where well-being, respect, fairness and integrity are top priorities.
