This role calls for strategic leadership to build a high-performance team and develop a comprehensive procurement function covering Transactional, Core, and Strategic Procurement. You will be responsible for implementing category management strategies for all direct and indirect expenditures. Your responsibilities will include analyzing market trends to unearth optimal sourcing opportunities, fostering strong vendor relationships, and negotiating contracts to ensure favorable terms. As the Procurement Manager, you will manage the entire procurement spectrum, including ensuring efficient P2P processes are in place and implementing appropriate strategic procurement infrastructure and processes, such as eRFx, contract management systems, robust supplier performance measurement, and support for new product development. You and your team will be responsible for accurate materials forecasting, supplier management, and the optimization of costs across all spend categories. encompass transactional, core, and strategic Procurement to streamline and enhance procurement operations.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, with a Master's degree in a relevant area considered advantageous.At least 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, including significant leadership experience managing transactional, core, and strategic procurement.Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating contracts to secure advantageous terms.Proven track record in materials planning and ensuring the alignment of procurement activities with financial and operational objectives.Experience with global sourcing and category cost management, optimizing spending across direct and indirect expenditures.Strong financial acumen and experience in cost management and optimization across all categories of spend.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging and negotiating with suppliers and collaborating with internal stakeholders across all levels of the organization.Advanced organizational and project management skills, enabling the management of multiple procurement initiatives and projects
