Overall ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Commercial Strategy Manager, Jamieson, the Commercial Strategy Analyst, Jamieson is responsible for supporting sales execution that is in line with brand and category priorities through the development, deployment, and ongoing tracking of the Specialty portfolio. The Commercial Strategy Analyst, Jamieson will build customer-specific recommendations, ensuring 4Ps (Product, Pricing, Promotion and Pre-Packs) ladder up to brand strategies and lead to financial growth.Specific Key Responsibilities & DutiesPlay a supporting role in the AOP process, integrating brand and channel strategy to guide sales execution plans through channel 4Ps.Collaborate with the KAMs to monitor and track established KPIs and proactively lead strategic and tactical recommendations to close gaps and/or accelerate growth.Act as the voice of sales in the development of customer-facing materials to support key marketing initiatives including but not limited to innovation, in-store campaign execution and shopper marketing programs.Play a supporting role within the IBP process, providing Channel and Customer level inputs to demand forecastingUse POS tools to build, track and report against channel and retailer KPIs, proactively identifying key opportunities, risks and solutions to close emerging gaps vs annual planProvide analytical support to help drive channel plans during the annual business planning process Knowledge, Skills & Abilities RequirementsUndergraduate degree in business administration or similar field1-3 years in a CPG, environment, working in a Commercial roleDemonstrated ability to leverage Analytical/POS tools (Nielsen/IQVA, Retailer POS, Tableau, Shopper Intelligence and others) to drive strategy, KPIs, execution and measurementExceptional ability to translate data and insights into a compelling business case (storytelling)A track record of success in executing brand and category growth initiatives with retailers (Walmart, Metro etc).Exceptional planning, organizing and coordination skills across multiple projects and initiativesAbility to proactively identify problems/circumvent roadblocks to deliver solutions and meet commitments on timeAbility to work effectively with peers, senior business leaders and key stakeholders to strategize, plan, coordinate and resolve problemsTakes initiative and comfortable working with ambiguityStrives to understand the needs/perspectives of others and remain open to influenceAbility to maintain composure and constructive focus at all timesExcellent verbal and written communication skills (reading, writing, listening, oral, presentation) Manufacturing
