Vice President Procurement

Unilux is looking for a VP Procurement to lead and oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials and services for the organization.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement procurement strategies and policies that align with the company's goals and objectivesNegotiate and maintain contracts and relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providersManage risk in the supply chain by dual sourcing, supplier auditing and by stocking strategiesAnalyze market trends, supply and demand, and supplier performance to identify opportunities and risksLead and mentor the procurement team and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvementResponsible for production planning and all materials management activitiesActive member of top management team reporting to EVP - vp operations, vp purchasing, vp new equipment salesDirect reports include vp purchasing, director planning, director logisticsActively lead team in selection and implementation of erp systemExecute strategy to minimize inventory levels while maintaining customer deliveriesAnalyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify and analyze strategic issues, business unit opportunities, service levels, consolidate critical and non-critical requirements across different suppliers. QualificationsMinimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing, preferably in the manufacturing industryProven track record of leading and managing procurement teams and projectsStrong negotiation, communication, and analytical skillsKnowledge of procurement best practices, tools, and systemsAbility to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks and deadlines HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing
