Role: Specialist Structural DynamicsLocation: Montreal, QCDuration: Contract/ Fulltime DescriptionSpecialist for Structural Dynamics You will be the responsible specialist for Structural Dynamics at client and you will be asked to: · Become familiar with the CRJ family flutter certification reports, the NASTRAN Dynamic Finite Element Models, and the NASTRAN PKNL flutter solution· Perform modal and flutter analyses to support the in-service CRJ fleet or other aerospace projects and document the results· Assess in-service CRJ fleet control surface backlash exceedance allowance requests· Attend monthly in-service CRJ fleet design change reviews· Develop qualifications, if not already acquired, to become Structural Dynamics Design Approval Designee (DAD) Additionally, you could be asked to:· Develop aeroelastic solutions (flutter, divergence, and control reversal) using MATLAB, Python, etc.· Process computational fluid dynamic, wind tunnel, and flight test data for Structural Dynamics purposes Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing,Design Services,Architectural and Structural Metal Manufacturing
