Key Responsibilities:  Troubleshoots, maintains, repairs, and replaces components for industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. Equipment can include bucket elevators, screw conveyors, rotating equipment, ball mills, classifiers, and pumps.Reads diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work proceduresInspects, investigates, and troubleshoots defects and malfunctions as per the work management policies of the company.Completes minor fabrication work as necessary, as well as riggingCompletes preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and calibration in a timely fashion and keeps accurate maintenance records, completing the required paperworkResponsible to supervise the work of millwright apprentice(s) they are working with on a jobWorks safely, following all local laws and company policies, and reports any health and safety concerns to supervisor Required Qualifications:Trade certified 433A license, with a Certificate of Qualification and Certificate of Apprenticeship5-10 years' experience in a similar role in an industrial environmentMust be capable of lifting up to 50lbsExperience with MIG and Stick weldingKnowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and compressors is required, with some knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation and electrical equipment·        Good computer skills with basic CAD skills·        Proactive on health and safety concerns The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skillsAble to analyze and solve problems in an efficient and effective mannerWorks accurately with numbers and can complete basic drawing of machine parts as requiredMaintains a clean, safe and organized work environmentGood computer skillsExperience working in cement, glass, mining, metals or related heavy industries preferred If you meet the above qualifications, please forward your resume with a cover letter.We thank you for your interest in Poraver North America!
