Specializing in the marketing, leasing and management of purpose-built rental properties, your new employer is striving to set the bar for rental management in BC. Your New RoleReporting to the Director, the Leasing Manager will take the lead on planning, marketing, and executing the lease up of high-rise rental project launches in Vancouver. This is a permanent position also responsible for managing ongoing leasing activity across a designated portfolio. You will work as part of a larger team (property management, accounting, marketing and operations/maintenance) and will be responsible for ensuring excellent tenant and external stakeholder relations. Bringing fresh ideas to leasing, you continue to ensure regular engagement with current and prospective tenants to elevate their experience. Additionally, you will introduce new technology/software to optimize leasing processes and ensure compliance, freeing up your team for more value-added tasks. The role also involves contributing to the development of marketing materials, managing corporate marketing through various platforms, and implementing communication and marketing strategies for resident engagement. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.What Sets You ApartThe ideal candidate for this position holds a degree or diploma in a related field, preferably with a commerce or business-related major. With a minimum of five years of relevant experience in high-rise residential leasing, including exposure to lease-up and new builds, candidates with hospitality or sales experience are preferred but not mandatory. The ability to have flexible work hours, excellent customer service, and communication skills is essential for success. You will have a roll up the sleeves attitude with the ability to work independently or in a team. Strong organization, time management, and detail-oriented skills are also essential. You are also willing to travel to presentation centers and residential sites as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office application is required, and familiarity with LinkedIn, Yardi Voyager and Tenant Management System is considered an asset.
