Senior Content and SEO Manager: Loans Vertical(Full-time Contractor Role in Canada, 70,000 to 90,000 CAD per year compensation range)MoneyGeek is looking for a Senior Content Manager who can help shape and grow our Consumer Lending content product. We're focused on educating our users on how to make smart choices about loans and helping them find the loan product that's best for their situation.Responsibilities:Loans vertical roadmap ownership to support long-term revenue growth. Page planning to ensure our loans content meets the needs of our users.  This process includes creating a content strategy doc that is informed by competitive and user research and adhering to SEO best practices so that our content will delight our users.Cross functional influence to grow page rankings. Help grow organic traffic in our lending vertical, including but not limited to partnering with marketing to improve digital marketing KPIs, improving user navigation and internal linking, partnering with engineering to improve page performance, and improving our live loans product pages to take them from good to great.Partner with our product team to create unique interactive tools for our users.Partner with our data team to ensure that lending data updates are efficient, timely, and accurate for our users.Partner with our monetization team to ensure our content is compliant with client requirements.Requirements:Must have experience building content in the personal finance space, preferably working on loans-related content aimed at U.S. audiencesMust be passionate about building lending expertiseAn appreciation for quality content and the ability to create it with a focus on constantly improving process and systemsUnderstanding of SEO best practices, familiarity with SEO industry tools such as SEMRush and Ahrefs/Majestic and keyword researchAbility to plan detailed content strategy documents that outline what content needs to be included on a pageStrong project management skills, ability to improve and create scalability in our workflowsExperience working cross functionally with data and product teamsNice to have:Experience working for a reputable lender to close loan productsCertification relevant to commercial or personal lendingAwareness of and experience with U.S. consumer lending regulations Compensation Range70,000 to 90,000 CAD+ stock optionsAbout MoneyGeekWe are a startup with the mission to educate our users and help them make smarter personal finance decisions by providing best-in-class content and tools that connect them to the right financial products and services.
