The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) actively drives and manages the sales retention, growth, and customer satisfaction within the assigned multistate region. The RSM works through their distributor or directly with the customer, in partnership with the Application Engineer and other Stauff Team Members to identify and provide reliable solutions to assure complete customer satisfaction throughout the sales and services process.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a strategy to sustainably grow market share in the assigned territory through both distribution and direct sales.Develop and execute a strategy to sustainably grow market share in the assigned territory through both distribution and direct sales.Develop and nurture relationships with customers, while driving them to promote our products over competitive lines they may also carry.Collaborate with Customer Service, Applications Engineering, and Operations teams to provide the best customer service possible.Develop a target customer list and other initiatives to help distribution partners grow.Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales targets for the region, projecting expected sales volume and profit.Develop business plans and sales forecasts. Evaluate business results and implement countermeasures to attain objectives.Manage sales expenses to the annual budget.Follow up on opportunity leads and generate sales opportunities through close association with channel partners.Develop and maintain Partner Distribution Channel for STAUFF Products & Services.Assist Sales and Marketing Team in establishing new Partners in underserved markets.Evangelize STAUFF solutions to key industry influencers (OEMs and Major End Users) to drive sales to STAUFF's Partners and direct officesDevelop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology.Manage sales pipeline and CRM input.Coordinate with the company marketing function to help identify and develop new customers for products and services as well as new products and functionality.Prepare a monthly executive summary of all sales and marketing activities showing turnover, backlog, pipeline, won/loss ratio, and dealer/partner activity summaries.Directly manage Partner Sales and major and critical client accounts in the region and coordinate the management of all other regional accounts.Participate in the development of new project proposals.Represent the company at various trade shows to promote the company.Review 'Request for Proposals' and develop appropriate proposal responses.Prepare, issue, and deliver sales proposals for Partners and direct clients.Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, distributors, and colleagues.Recommend policies and procedures to enhance sales performance.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor or Technical degreeA specific discipline is not required but Business or Engineering is preferredMinimum 2 years of applicable experience is preferredFluid Power experience is preferred but not requiredGood communication, analytical, presentation & negotiation skillsSelf-motivated, responsible, and accountable.High level of professionalism, honesty, and integrityDedicated to personal development.Must have strong computer skills including expertise in MS Excel and PowerPointComplies with ISO 9001:2015 regulations and procedureBenefitsHow STAUFF contributes to your Success!Generous Paid Time OffA competitive base salary Commission Pay Industrial Machinery Manufacturing,Wholesale
