The right candidate will be confident leading teams ensuring that all members work effectively towards meeting corporate goals and provide expert technical guidance for engineering initiatives that are aligned with business needs and benefit the company. This includes driving innovation, optimizing resources, and ensuring the delivery of quality products or services to our customers.Our ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of engineering principles, practices, codes, and regulations, as well as strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to take the company to the next level in our evolution.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop and implement technical strategies and plans that are compliant and align with company's business goals and objectives.Lead cross functional engineering teams to execute strategic engineering initiatives.Manage department budget and resources to make cost-effective decisions that don't compromise quality or efficiency.Oversee product development and release of new and innovative products or technologies according to set timelines.Establishes quality control standards to ensure final products meet industry and customer standards.Oversee the development of a Rooftop Hazard and Inspection program and team.What would help set you apart:P.Eng designationAbility to demonstrate how you are aligned with our values and corporate culture.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $140,000 - $200,000 per yearBenefits:Dental careExtended health careRRSP matchVision careSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: In person either Perth, ON or Montreal, QC Construction
