We are here to bring disruptive solutions to our industry and help save our Planet!Job Description: Seeking a highly skilled and strategic North America Market Development Manager to lead our company's foray into the North American plastics industry. This role is particularly focused on engaging with food packaging producers, our primary clients, and indirectly influencing food companies.The ideal candidate will be an adept sales strategist, renowned for their ability to effectively close deals and drive substantial business growth. This role is pivotal for someone who can combine in-depth industry knowledge with exceptional sales acumen to successfully commercialize our innovative products in the market.Key Responsibilities:Client Engagement and Deal Closure:Actively engage with potential and existing clients to build strong relationships.Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring profitable partnerships.Demonstrate a proactive approach in identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to network and establish contacts.Market Development:Develop and implement effective sales strategies.Conduct research to identify new market opportunities and potential dealers.Conclude nationwide sales agreements in line with company objectives.Collaborate with the President to formulate and execute marketing and sales plans.Prepare, manage, and review the sales and marketing budget/forecasts.Analyze sales results and marketing effectiveness to develop strategic improvement plans.Evaluate opportunities through in-depth market research.Skills and Qualifications:Extensive network and in-depth knowledge in the Plastics industry, specifically in Flexible and Rigid packaging, with a focus on both the Food industry and non-food applications in North America.Proven mastery in sales, with a significant track record of closing deals and exceeding sales targets.Proficiency in English; bilingual capability in English and French is preferred.Expertise in strategic planning, business analysis, and market development.Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation abilities.Customer-focused attitude with excellent negotiation skills.Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.Adaptability and a strong commitment to driving progress and innovation.Energetic, resilient, and passionate about achieving sales targets and company goals.Other Requirements:Willingness to travel extensively as per business needs.Familiarity with the plastics, packaging, and food sectors is advantageous.Fluent English Location: Canada/US based.
