Frontend Architect at Nirmata - TorontoNirmata is seeking an experienced hands-on Frontend Architect and leader to help build a fast, reliable, and frictionless Policy Management end-user experience Locations:Toronto, Canada.ResponsibilitiesCharting the Technical Vision: Lead the team and platform by setting a technical vision, identifying innovative technologies that enhance security, scalability, reliability, and performance.Feature Development and Reusable Components: Actively contribute to feature development and the creation of reusable components.Industry Research and Implementation: Conduct thorough industry research on best practices, translating findings into roadmaps, designs, processes, and implementations related to information architecture, interaction design, usability, performance, component reusability, and content strategy.Architectural Diagrams: Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural diagrams that elucidate the structural, interactive, and dependency aspects of the system.Frontend Engineering and Business Decisions: Play a key role in frontend engineering and business-related decisions, providing technical strategy and leadership to development teams.Cross-Team Collaboration: Independently build relationships across teams, fostering collaboration and leading the development of reusable, scalable designs that align with business goals.Integration and Performance: Collaborate with backend architects to integrate scalable solutions, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.Extensive Software Engineering Experience: 10+ years as a software engineer with a track record of shipping production code. Management experience is a plus.B2B SaaS Development: Proven experience in developing large-scale B2B SaaS or similarly complex platforms.Modern Web Technologies: Proficiency in modern web technologies such as React, GraphQL, Javascript, Typescript, HTML5, and CSS3.Analytical Expertise: Experience dealing with complex analytics.Frontend Architectural Expertise: Expertise in scalable frontend architectures, including micro frontends and domain-driven design for web applications.Design Principles: Strong understanding of CSS, design principles, and the creation of component libraries.Responsive Design: Proficiency in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.Additional Preferred Qualifications:Startup Experience: Previous experience working in a startup environment.Global Team Collaboration: Experience working with globally distributed teams.Domain Knowledge: Previous experience working with Kubernetes, security cloud products or cloud analytics productsJoin our vibrant and innovative team at Nirmata and be part of shaping the future of Policy Management cloud solutions.
