These are full-time, in-office opportunities.Role SummaryJotform is looking for DevOps Engineers who have an interest in system administration and cloud computing management for a web service that serves more than 20 million users.The key objectives of this role include, but are not limited to:Developing tools and features to add new functionalities, automations, or performance improvements.Skillfully performing all activities necessary to improve overall development and production environment.Writing cloud computing management scripts such as Amazon EC2, S3, CloudFront and Google Cloud.Monitoring and improving infrastructure for Jotform and our customers.What Do You Need to Be Successful?BS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experienceProficiency in PHP (in Go and/or NodeJS is a big plus)Solid understanding of OOP principlesAbility to write high-performance, maintainable, and reusable codeExpertise in Linux system administrationExperience in, or deep understanding of, Cloud computing, high availability, and high performanceWorking experience with CI/CD and related tools like Git and JenkinsDemonstrated experience in the following areas:Operating Systems: Linux (Ubuntu and Debian)Databases: MySQL, Redis, MongoDBCloud Computing: Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, Rackspace CloudExcellent written communication skills in EnglishAbout YouDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervisionGreat communicator who can collaborate effectively with global team members in real-time and asynchronouslyOrganized and detail-orientedProactive problem-solver who can seamlessly identify, test, and communicate efficient solutionsComfortable navigating high-stress situations without losing focus motivation, or perspectiveAbility to simultaneously handle multiple time-sensitive tasksPassion for learning and discovering new technologiesOUR PROCESSWe'll review your application along with all the others we receive and pick the top profiles for a screening call.
