A major part of the role involves deterring and protecting the retail brand and staff.Duties:Responsible for the protection of people, property, facilities, and informationKnowledgeable on the criminal code and understands arrestsAble to work independentlyMaintain surveillance of surrounding area and report suspicious activityStrong ability to de-escalate situations and be able to handle individuals that need to be removed from the propertyPerform detailed and diligent patrolsAbility to handle emergency alarms in a quick manner (e.g., Fire Alarms, etc)Observe and report daily activities and irregularities to appropriate personnelEnsure that all safety and emergency procedures are followedWork with local police serviceMonitor CCTV CamerasDraft reportsSkills Required:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills while being alert and detail orientedAbility to exercise vigilance and multitask is required (Ability to prioritize, remain calm and multi-task under pressure in a dynamic environment)Proficient in using technologyExperience in proper search techniques.Ability to effectively generate all relevant shift reports and distribute in a timely mannerMust be able to speak, read and write in EnglishThe Ideal Candidate:Must hold and maintain valid applicable Security Guard License and First Aid & CPR CertificationMinimum of 2 years of security experienceMust have mall and/or tactical Security experienceMust have a valid Use of Force Hand-cuffing CertificationCrisis management / Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification is preferredWhat Logixx Security Offers:Competitive Pay StructureQuality Training ProgramsCareer Development OpportunitiesLogixx Security Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and takes pride in a diverse environment.
