Located in Woodbridge, Ontario and offices in Montreal, Quebec, we are a leading beauty care and small kitchen appliances company with brands such as Conair, Cuisinart, and BaBylissPro and we service the retail and professional markets in Canada.The Position:Ā We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics and Compliance Coordinator.Ā The Logistics and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound freight shipments through various modes of transportation and work with Third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure operational efficiency, timely processing of documentation, and tracking of shipment delivery status.Ā Ā Ā Ā If you are looking for an opportunity to join a thriving, dynamic organization with an entrepreneurial spirit and an action-oriented culture, this role is perfect for you.Responsibilities:Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Resolve any carrier issues or problems related to billing, costs, or shipmentsSubmit and follow up on freight claims Maintain strong working relationships with all carriers and vendors to assure cost and delivery targets are metProvide weekly in-transit report to the Planning teamProcess return authorization requests by customer and carrierProcess all import transactions and maintain importation filesTrack and follow-up on customer/carrier outbound shipments and delivery statusTrack and follow-up on inbound shipments and delivery statusAudit inbound freight and customs invoicesObtain month-end courier/carrier/forwarder statementsProvide HS tariff classification and commercial documents to customs brokerInvestigate and report on operational customer fines, challenging any fines as requiredDevelop and maintain strong customer relationships with 3PL providersProvide POD's as requested internallyCollaborate with internal departments to provide timely reporting on the movement and status of goods and shipments to ensure that customer requirements are metAssist the Traffic team as requiredMinimum Qualifications:University/College degree or diploma in business, logistics or related field of studyMinimum 3 years related experienceStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Teams), SAP and logistics/freight management softwareWhat we offer:We offer a hybrid-working environment and an attractive compensation package including extended health benefits, life insurance, and a defined contribution pension plan.Please forward your resume and cover letter to: recruitment_canada@conair.comĀ  Manufacturing
