Senior Systems Testing / QA SpecialistContract Duration 12+ monthsOverview:As part of Ontario's Ministry objective (PB4P – eForms SADIE) through a digital solution, the initiative aims to create a digital forms publication pipeline and establish a provincial library of electronic forms that will be readily available in all point-of-care systems and is integrated with provincial digital assets (i.e. EHR).Deliverables include:Design and create a Test Strategy for features based on the identified requirementsTest requirements and identify any gapsCreate and estimate DevOps Tasks for QA-related workCreate and Execute Test cases for assigned areasDefect management for areas owned.Responsibilities:Provide testing strategy, test plans, the selection of testing toolsPlan and organize testing efforts for large systems in Graphical User Interface (GUI) and non-graphical User Interface (GUI) environments, including the execution of systems integration tests, specialized tests, and connectivity/error handling. and user acceptance testing (e.g., stress tests)Develop test cases and execute these against the various components.Work closely with the Software Engineers and Business Analysts in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of the required systems.Must haves:Minimum 5 years in a Senior/Leadership QA roleMinimum 8 to 10 years hands-on experience testing Enterprise Web ApplicationsStrong working experience creating Test Strategies for complex systemsStrong working experience using Microsoft DevOps Test PlansDesired Skills:Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent technical disciplineEffective team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information in a manner that is understandableKnowledge and experience in at least one programming languageKnowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standardsKnowledge of one or more automated testing toolsExperience supporting user acceptance testing and participating in UAT activitiesKnowledge and experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life CycleNotes:Fully Remote to start - this role MAY revert back on-site in the future.#gttca#LI-GTT
