Job description About the job Leading, developing and managing the Recovery work in the store by working together with the other functions of the store to prevent the occurrence of unnecessary costs to assets and to give products a second chance while keeping bottom line profits and sustainability in mind. Your assignment
- You strive to minimise the financial loss of damaged in the store and try to maximise the financial recovery by repacking and moving goods back to stock or assemble, price and sell goods in the As-Is shop.
- You work closely with other functions in handling damages in my store and together identify the root cause of recurring damages and take appropriate action to minimise the reoccurrence of these in future.
- You ensure the Recovery is always a safe and secure environment for visitors and co-workers and that our property is safeguarded and you are conscious of safety at all times in our store.
- You are proactive in using all the information and tools available, to ensure a multidimensional approach to steering the business in order to achieve growth and sustained long term profitability with our customers in focus.
- You co-operate across functions to ensure everyone understands and contributes to the process with focus on prevention, revenue and sustainability.
- Extensive knowledge of functions in the store level and how they contribute to the Recovery process
- An understanding of the processes related to quality and sustainability within IKEA
- Possess good insights into the IT systems that are related to Recovery
- The ability to work through others, set priorities and delegate responsibility and give open and honest feedback
- Proven record of consistently meeting agreed budgets and goals, and working on plans over a number of years
