Your role will be to deliver the highest standards of service in the most efficient manner to maintain customer plant and equipment as installed on site. Responsibilities:

  • Do a technical handover for orders from SE’s, to include correct account setup, technical evaluation, margin correct, any quotations, control options and special documentation, transport required
  • Enter orders into Trane system – in Spectrum/Oracle
  • Liase with factory on Delivery dates and organise deliveries.
  • Issue documentation to customer to meet the pharm industry standard.
  • Attend site meeting to review project, attend hazops meeting, control integration meeting.
  • Arrange and Attend factory acceptance tests
  • Technical support
  • Witness offloading and positioning of equipment delivered to site.
  • Invoice customer
  • Recognise revenue in oracle.
  • Issue delivery forecast for Finance.
  • Attend site for handover/co-ordinate any warranty items.
  • Create purchase orders for B&R.
  • Selection of equipment - chillers and ahu’s
  • Create sequence of operations for Chiller plant manager.
  • Issue cable schedules for controls jobs
  • Co-ordinate purchase orders for electrical contractors
  • Manage the projects paying attention to margin protection.
  • Schedule deliveries and liaise with Factories.
  • Travel to site to supervise offloading and positioning of equipment.
  • Liase with mechanical contractors and consultants
  • Provide method statements for work
  • Schedule work with service department
  • Develop program of works for control projects including reviewing P&ID’s to calculate the required controllers.
  • Write sequence of operations for projects and ensure that documentation is up to date.
  • Maintain the order system.
  • Forecast the sales for each week based on system tools.
  • Select and quote for projects that we are tendering for including, chillers ahu’s & controls.
  • Attend factory acceptance tests.
  • Liaise with service department during the management of project
Qualifications:
  • Engineering qualification
  • Experience within HVAC or similar role.
  • Must be flexible, professional and communicate well with stakeholders.
  • Proactive and team player as can be requested to attend multiple sites during one shift.
  • Rota weekend working availability.
  • Travel required
