Knowledge Management Specialist Mercer is looking for a dynamic team mate to join our Global Knowledge Management (KM) team as a Knowledge Specialist (KS) for the Wealth business. - As a Knowledge Specialist (KS) you will drive the knowledge management activation plan for the Wealth business within Mercer.
- You will curate Mercer’s Wealth intellectual capital across all regions to ensure that it is available to the right people, in the right place and at the right time.
- You will need to deliver a modern, seamless work experience for our Wealth colleagues who support advisory and consulting solutions, products and programs for the business including efforts in areas such as thought leadership / sales campaigns.
- You will be the face of the KM team with business colleagues and content owners – not just for intranet operations, but strategic knowledge sharing best practices that bring commercial value.
- You will be involved with digital transformation, search optimization, content curation and management, social collaboration / communities, taxonomy, and analytics.
- You will be part of a forward-thinking team spearheading automation, AI and generative AI activities with ‘humans in the loop’, using Mercer’s leading intellectual capital within the firm.

- Analyse and prepare data/metrics reports to produce insights to drive content curation for Wealth knowledge domains following current and emerging best practices.
- Establish relationships with leaders, teams and stakeholders (for example, subject matter experts, thought leaders, segment leaders, research directors, etc.) to advance knowledge sharing, content access and business priorities.
- Coordinate with other core operational functions including Marketing, Communications and Learning to ensure content publishing, digital activation plans, and internal community collaboration are executed and knowledge is shared.
- Contribute to activities that improve the effectiveness of knowledge sharing, colleague engagement and collaboration both inside and outside the organization.
- Ensure KM projects and tasks are completed on time and with high quality results.
- Delegate, partner with, and coordinate with Knowledge Coordinators to execute SharePoint task management in support of intranet operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
- Digitally-savvy, forward-thinking; be curious about the future of work for knowledge management and content curation.
- Strong collaborative decision-making, comprehensive problem-solving and positive influencing skills with colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to identify and communicate the need for change around knowledge management and firm-wide collaboration.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment while managing multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and on a virtual, global team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Experience in working with content management/collaboration systems such as SharePoint and Microsoft 365
- Knowledge management experience preferred but not required
- A background in the wealth industry – ideally with investment and retirement consulting, investment management and research highly desirable
